“What do you do with the drawings after the event?”
In the case of the Notre Dame Center for Ethical Leadership, part of the Mendoza College of Business – the answer is, quite a lot!
They invited rising business leaders to their Fall Forum for an immersive discussion on business ethics and how they can make an impact – where I was brought in to do graphic recording to inspire attendees and chronicle key highlights, in real time using pictures, words, and color.
Afterwards, the drawings were:
- displayed in the atrium in the College of Business
- used in the debriefing material sent to participants
- featured in a story in the NDDCEL newsletter on Early Career Insights
- included in an article on their website, Notre Dame and NDDCEL continue to inspire ethical business leaders with fall forum for early career professionals
- Shared on speaker and Board Member Mary Gentile’s website, Giving Voice to Values
- all of the images were featured in a blog post along with an excellent summary of each talk, Insights for Early Career Professionals – and their Managers
I’m impressed by their content planning, which resulted in them getting a lot of use – and value – out of the graphic notes.
We’re very grateful to you for sharing your wonderful work with us at the event! Your drawings were such a great addition. –Jessica McManus Warnell
